Festival of Illumination World of Lights, just weeks away from Grand Opening Weekend, Sept. 23 - 26

We have been working very hard and are now just weeks away from our Grand Opening Weekend of the Festival of Illumination World of Lights at Southwick's Zoo; September 23 to the 26. In addition to the breathtaking Chinese Lantern exhibits, guests will also enjoy live entertainment including Chinese Acrobats, an Asian Night Market, Street Performers, Specialty Foods and more!
Currently, the installation of the lanterns can be witnessed at Southwick's Zoo during the daytime hours, and as the days draw closer to the beginning of September, guests will be able to view more and more installations. The magic of the exhibits come to life at dusk and into the evening hours as the LED lighting is turned on. Come visit us during the festival to witness the incredible beauty and artistic presence of these magnificent exhibits.
The festival will be open evenings 5:30pm to 10:00pm beginning September 23 and running through to January 2 of 2022. Beginning on November 26th the Winter Wonderland Holiday addition will be featured with additional holiday Chinese lanterns.
